Experience Informs My Work

For the past five years I have authored several books, including one under my own name and two as the ghostwriter and/or for two different NY Times bestselling authors. These experiences, from both an interpersonal and technical perspective, add an entirely new dimension to my skillset.  

In previous iterations of myself, I have written copy and produced ideas for some of the top brands and agencies in the world. I have been a musician, a successful blogger, and a world traveler. I’ve volunteered at an orphanage in Tanzania (a decade later it was featured on 60 Minutes) and written grant proposals in India for a man who has won the equivalent of two Nobel prizes—in addition to being called “the most important lawyer in India since Gandhi.”

I’ve worked as a photographer’s assistant in Vietnam and China, created my own podcast, tried to create my own travel show in Europe, served food and drinks in an Irish bar on Crete, written an educational video that’s been seen in more than 5,000 schools across the United States, and published with BBC Travel and the Seattle Times, among others.

I’ve written pitches for TV shows and book proposals for Fortune 500 executives and coached what I’ve learned about writing to aspiring writers. My first editing/writing/ghostwriting opportunity debuted at #15 on Amazon. It also set the publishing house’s record by being published into 29 languages in the first five months of publication. 

It’s these experiences and more that inform my work. My intention is to be surrounded by the best, brightest, and most creative people possible, because I know being surrounded by people as such only serves to elevate my own work.
